Jonathan working with a student at Imagination Stage. Submitted by Nikki Kaplan.

Jon was always a constant during my undergrad. His constant positivity and beautiful music were something I looked up to. When we graduated, I began a cabaret series at Epicure cafe in Fairfax. I needed an accompanist and for the very first one, I asked Jonathan to accompany. He was so excellent, and even stepped in as a MD to teach us all a last minute group number (I think it was Seasons of Love). The photo attached is from that very first performance and I will be forever grateful for his amazing artistry and calming presence. Submitted by Lizzy Pasta

Just a mere few photo memories capturing the love and light Jon Kirby brought to our family and those he touched deeply. Not only was he a tremendous force and talent in his own music and performance path, he was a true supported of others journey's and the Arts as a whole. His impact will live forever and never be forgotten. Submitted by the Dolan Family

This is a tough one: this was right as Jon and Maddy left for California and the last time that Vinny and I saw him and hugged him and wished him luck! We love you, Uncle Jon! Submitted by Krissy Pierno

Jon, James, Tyler, and I after a performance at Imagination Stage. The one with the pi(e). He spent the entire school year making sure each child’s voice and idea was heard through the music he wrote for them. I learned more from Jon about passion, patience, and hard work than any degree ever taught me. Submitted by Haviland Atha-Simonton

Brendan, Jon L, myself, and Kirby all went golfing early in the morning. Brendan didn’t feel well so he left before the picture could be taken. We decided to poorly photoshop Brendan in the background to complete the photo. Submitted by Josh LeBlanc
